First my fate was to be lied to,
'Cause I liked it, and I lied too.
Then my fate was on it's Round Two.
Out of two rounds, it stopped--
said, "Here I am. Here I am."
Come embrace me, I'm your long lost.
I'm your comeback,
I'm your: "Here I am."
Don't waste me, 'cause I won't last long,
and I won't come back,
I'm your: "Here I am."
I'm your, "Here I am."
Slowly it comes around again.
Second time, still it's not sure.
First time I lied, said,
"I'm not ready yet,"
and it slammed the door.
After suffering all the scabs of falling off,
I can lie no more.
Now one last try--
and it's so close by.
In the star light,
in the street light,
in the headlight,
in the house light,
in the half-light,
in the no light,
even then, it's so bright.
You can't help but hear, "Here I am."
Embrace me, I'm your long lost,
I'm your comeback,
I'm your: "Here I am."
Don't waste me, 'cause I won't last long,
and I won't come back,
I won't come back,
I'm your: "Here I am."
I'm your, "Here I am."
